We are currently seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer who will be responsible for support efforts to resolve product and/or process technical issues impacting product quality and delivery by solving complex issues in plastics.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and analyzing manufacturing process performance to define continuous improvement opportunities in daily production.
  • Establish and maintain process documentation of new and existing molds, tools, machines, resin and processes.
  • Implementation of solutions that meet quality and production goals while adhering to company procedures and industry and regulatory standards.

The required qualifications for the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical degree required. Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Plastics Engineering, or related engineering degree preferred or experience with 2 or more years' experience in manufacturing or process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with data driven analysis methods such as DOE, SPC, or FMEA.
  • Experience and understanding of GD&T, Minitab (or other statistical analysis software), and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated technical leader with an ability to prioritize, focus efforts, overcome obstacles, and complete key objectives.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience with injection molding, injection blow molding, and secondary processing operations related to plastics in a high-volume operation.
