Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Senior Applications Support Engineer in our Westport, CT headquarters. You will be a key member of our Technology team, reporting to the VP of Applications. This technical application support role will be responsible for providing level 2 and 3 support for our proprietary OneMarket Procure-to-Pay web application.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain expert feature, configuration and system knowledge of the proprietary software application
• Application configuration via SQL scripting
• Provide level 2 and 3 support, assisting the customer application support function in resolving end user issues
• Collaborate with Java-based product development team for enhancement or issue resolution via software changes
• Assist in exploratory and integration quality assurance testing as required for select software releases
• Maintain and update application security configurations

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required
• 7+ years of experience administering data-driven web applications
• Expert scripting proficiencies: SQL, PL/SQL, Perl, Regular Expression, Linux shell scripting
• Linux system administration covering security configurations RSA keys, trust store, certificate maintenance, SSO configurations
• Basic object-oriented programming proficiency
• Tools: Oracle SQL Developer, Java IDEs
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to interact successfully with external clients and application end users
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment

Travel: Some travel may be required.
